Township trustees are elected officials, but many are volunteers, too, who help make their communities better places t o live. They help out at the fire hall, organize summer festivals, and serve meals at the local soup kitchen.
Some even have extended a helping hand to communities beyond their borders - and we want to hear their story for an upcoming article in the GRASSROOTS. For instance, do you know a good Samaritan township trustee who helped victims of Hurricane Katrina or who helped residents of a neighboring community overcome a tragedy? If so, please send their name, township, county, daytime telephone number, email address, and a summary of their good acts to ITA, PO Box 611, Fishers IN 46038. or email
